Reiki is known for:
-
treating the whole person including body, mind, and spirit
-
creating many beneficial effects that include relaxation, inner peace, and wellbeing
-
being a complementary therapy; working in conjunction with all other medical or therapeutic techniques
-
relieving side effects and promoting recovery
The side effects of regular medical treatments have also been reduced or eliminated. This includes the negative effects of chemotherapy, post operative pain and depression as well as improving the healing rate and reducing the time needed to stay in the hospital.
Everybody can benefit from Reiki. It is beneficial to the health of women, men, children, animals, plants, water, etc.
How Reiki works
The life force, Ki, nourishes and
harmonizes our whole being – physical,
mental, emotional, and spiritual through
our energy field (aura),
energy centers (chakras), and energy
pathways (meridians).
Stress, lifestyle, attitudes, environmental
influences or traumatic events negatively
affect our energy field and centers causing
blockages thus disrupting or
dis-harmonizing the flow of Ki. This can
lead to discomforts or illnesses.
The Reiki energy channeled through the hands of the Reiki practitioner flows through the recipient and clears the affected parts of the energy field and centers, thus allowing a normal healthy flow of Ki to resume and restore balance and harmony to the whole person.
While Reiki is spiritual in nature, it is not a religion. It has no dogma, and there is nothing you must believe in order to benefit, learn and use Reiki.

What is Reiki?
Reiki is an exceptionally gentle, non-invasive energy healing therapy for stress reduction that also promotes healing.
Reiki (pronounced "ray-key") is a Japanese word meaning “universal life energy”, the energy which animates all living things and is found all around us.
